The following basic ground rules apply to all mediations:
1. Allow other people to speak without interrupting.
2. Treat everyone with respect and refrain from name calling and insults.
3. No using foul or vulgar language.
4. Put your cell phones, beepers, etc., off or put them on silent or vibrate.
5. Clear your schedule so that you can concentrate on the mediation.
6. Agree to be patient.
